My next trip was to Michaels for more clearance stuff. There wasn't as much as I thought there would be (I guess a lot was sold yesterday), but I still made out well, especially in baking items. I ended up with some fall cookie cutters, a pumpkin and ghost cookie cutter, Halloween sprinkles and decorating plastic thingies that you put over the cookie and sprinkle through (think spray paint), food coloring (black and orange, and I tried making orange yesterday with pink and yellow and it SO did not work), a notepad for 50 cents, and a berry-stick decoration, all for around $12. Now next year I can make sugar cookies shaped like Halloween things with actual orange icing instead of peach. Haha.
I put together the pumpkin from Walgreens and the berry-stick thingie from Michaels to make a centerpiece for our dining room table. Not bad for $4!
