CVS, Week of 2-14

This was a fun shopping trip! I bought:

  • 1 Brita filter 3-pack, $17.99 with one $2 internet coupon and $5 ECBs = $10.99
  • 4 Reach floss, $1.99 each with three $1 newspaper coupons, one $1 internet coupon, one $3 off $3 CVS internet coupon and one $1 CVS CRT coupon = free
  • 2 Crest Pro-Health Rinse, $3.50 each with two $2 newspaper coupons and $3.50 ECBs each = profit of $4
  • 1 Schick Quattro Trimmer, $11.99 with one free item CVS mail coupon = free
  • 2 Glade soy candles, $6 each with two $3 newspaper coupons, one $3 CVS CRT coupon and $4 ECBs = profit of $1
  • 2 Covergirl foundations, $6 each with one $1 newspaper coupon, one B1G1F newspaper coupon, and $5 ECBs = free
  • 2 newspapers

Net cost: $11.95. I’d say that’s pretty good. I had a really difficult transaction with the register beeping on some of my coupons, and I didn’t want to go through it again, so I didn’t get the free Aussie product yet, but I’ll be going back for that. We’ve been needing a new Brita filter for a while, and those three-packs run at around $18 before coupons. Now if only I hadn’t bought my husband three Valentine’s day cards and thrown off my OOP! (Yes, you read that right. Three cards. I’m not very decisive, and I liked three of them. Plus I had a three-part gift for him.) Cards are so expensive!

YTD OOP: $59.16
YTD Savings: $355.13
YTD eBay sales: $9.40
