Did you guess right?

Halloween Wreath

It’s a wreath! Isn’t it so much fun? When I saw Cara’s ribbon wreath, I knew I had to make one. Halloween ribbon was on sale at Michael’s last week, so it was perfect timing. I ended up using 20 spools of ribbon for all of the loops (with a little left over), and one big spool for covering the foam wreath. The “Trick or Treat” sign was also on sale at Michaels, and I just poured a bunch of hot glue onto the spot I wanted it and stuck it on. Hopefully it will stay there! The whole process took a little longer than I expected, but it was really fun. You might end up seeing more ribbon wreaths here in the future.

CVS, Week of 9-26

My store was all out of the free-after-ECBs Oral-B toothbrushes, so this week I bought:

  • 8 bags of Halloween candy, $2.50 each with two $1 and two $0.50 newspaper coupons and $6 ECBS = $11
  • 2 bottles Melatonin, $13.59 each, B1G1F = $13.59
  • One $5 off a $30 purchase email coupon

Net cost: $19.62. I spent a lot of money! We never have enough candy to hand out on Halloween, so I’m going to try to get as much as I can this year at a good price. Hopefully I’ll get enough this time!
