One of my good friends Sarah is having a baby girl soon, so Amanda and I got together to make her a baby quilt. She picked out a Stork Maman by Cloud 9 fat quarter set and we got to work. We used the Colorblock pattern by Bijou Lovely and added some coral from my stash to brighten it up.

For the back, Amanda did some awesome piecing with the leftovers from the front, along with a retro flower! Doesn't it look great?

Here's a closeup of the piecing. We did simple wide wavy lines for the quilting, and bound it in the same color as the backing background (Kona Stone). Congratulations, Sarah, we're so excited for you!
